Olivera Vukajlović
Olivera Vukajlović was born on October 11, 1989, in Cetinje. She completed primary school and high school at "Slobodan Škerović" as the top student in her class in Podgorica. She began her professional journey through an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration during her final year of studies, and graduated in 2012 from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Montenegro, specializing in international economics. Her work engagement started as an intern at OTP Bank AD Podgorica, where she subsequently worked in the management of non-performing assets after completing her internship.
In 2016, she commenced her engagement at NLB Bank AD Podgorica, where she worked on financing large legal entities in both private and public ownership, as well as analyzing their operations. Due to her achievements in this area, she was awarded the title of best commercialist in 2019. In the 42nd and 43rd Governments, she served as the General Director of the Directorate for Competitiveness Improvement at the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism.
During this engagement, she coordinated the process of developing numerous strategic documents in the areas of micro, small, and medium enterprises development, women's entrepreneurship, circular and green economy, lifelong entrepreneurial learning, support for special groups such as business beginners, as well as legislative solutions aimed at enhancing the investment environment and access to financing. Additionally, she worked on creating specific program support for micro, small, and medium enterprises, as well as establishing and strengthening non-financial support programs for businesses in the Western Balkan region.
Through her work engagement in the Ministry, she has collaborated with numerous international organizations and financial institutions (such as the United Nations, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Japan International Cooperation Agency, among others), and has participated as a panelist and lecturer at many conferences and seminars. She acquired informal education through learning foreign languages and study visits to countries in the region, Europe, and the world, as well as through summer schools and advanced training. She is fluent in English, Turkish, and Spanish, and has proficiency in Italian.
