Dejan Vukšić
Dejan Vukšić was born on May 2, 1972. He completed elementary school in Tivat, and after finishing the JU Mixed Secondary School "Danilo Kiš" in Budva, he served a one-year military term in the then Army of Yugoslavia at the "Milovan Šaranović" barracks in Danilovgrad.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Pristina in 1996, thus obtaining the title of bachelor of law. His first legal experiences were gained at the Basic Court in Kotor as a judicial intern, after which he passed the judicial exam and received the title of professional associate. Soon after, he was elected as the youngest judge in Montenegro at the same court, a position he held until 2001 when he became a lawyer.
He successfully practiced law until 2020, during which time he was also listed by many embassies recommending him as a lawyer (such as the embassies of the USA and the United Kingdom). In 2020, he was elected president of the Municipal Assembly of Kotor. He held the position of Director of the National Security Agency of Montenegro and during that period, in addition to performing important duties, he was also a member of the Council for National Security of Montenegro. He speaks English fluently. He is married and the father of two children.
